Quake Mother F-ing 3

I've been playing Quake Live recently and had an original copy of Quake 3 in my bed draws collecting dust because the players on Quake 3 are insane rape pros. I'm gonna play some Quake 3 to hopefully get better at FPS games Does anyone want to join me? I think I remember the community is divided on a bunch of different patches and that there are loads of mods etc. I can't wait
